Hey guys iv spent some time working on all these setting after being able to run the game fine even on high i wanted to know how to improve FPS and increase Reg"Lerp in DOS". After playing with this and then testing i found my game runs smoother. Realy smooth at first i though the server had setting changed to make players move faster. Druss, Torch and tranc3 were in the server with me and i asked them but they said everything was normal.

What you will need to Do is copy this over ur other game settings. Open document go to bfbc2 inside will be a file called "Settings" NOT "GameSettings".

[WindowSettings]
Width=1280
Height=800
Fullscreen=true
RefreshRate=60
VSync=false
[Sound]
Quality=low
VoipEnable=true
SpeakerCount=0
[Graphics]
Effects=medium
Soldiers=medium
Vehicles=medium
Overgrowth=medium
Undergrowth=medium
StaticObjects=medium
Terrain=medium
Shadows=medium
Bloom=true
HSAO=false
MSAA=0
Water=medium
MainQuality=medium
Texture=high
DxVersion=9
Aniso=2
Detail=medium
RenderAheadLimit=0
Fov=85

^^Fov you may change to suit yourself. I don't thinks it good to go over 100.
You can leave DxVersion on Autoif you wish. but try it with Dx9 to see the difference.
if you run a Dual core PSU add +fullproc behind BFBC2.exe (in shortcut) to enable the game to use Both Core's. BFBC2.exe"+fullproc is what it should look like.

Thanks Deere, but to change my to run both cores, I can't find it in the shortcut's properties. I think it's because I downloaded it from steam?

if your running through steam, then you should be able to add +fullproc in launch options. if you right click on BC2 and go properties. then click "Set Launch Options..." and just add that to the line. it should be the same thing. this is assuming you launch from steam and not a shortcut. if you create a shortcut after you do this, it might work, but im not sure.

also, i wouldn't really call this a script, as everything in there you can edit withing the game settings other than FOV. all your doing is lowering the graphic settings. of course its gonna run smoother on lower settings!!

Yeah thanks heaps Deere. i took your config and its pretty much identical to your 2nd list. except smaller reso for my shitty gfx card. Its a tiny bit glitchy now, but way less mouse lag.

i know its not reali a script i wasnt sure what to call it. Not all off the settings i changed can be done in-game. Fov as u said plus MSAA "0", Water "Low", Undergrowth "low", Overgrowth "Low",BLoom "false" oh and the DXlevel "9".
